Amir Karimi was born in 1987 in Tehran. Karimi has an extensive experience in the field of painting and the common denominator of most of his works is the use of photography and dealing with topics such as man and the surrounding environment through a figurative approach in his artworks. In his paintings he tries to address the positive and negative aspects of human beings and the living conditions of the human race. Whether it is an emphasis on human ignorance and misconceptions or a suggestion to eliminate them. In different periods of his career, Karimi has used techniques such as marker and ink on paper, acrylic, oil paint, and mixed media on paper and canvas and in his most recent works, he uses chalcography and direct printing of his photographs.
